3步学会高考英语写作之中国传统文化（节日篇）

现在的试卷不再以单纯考察学生对某个知识点掌握情况为重点，在新课标改革后，要求中高考试题出题方向更场景化、融合化和重视传统文化。

近些年的中高考英语作文也经常，要求学生以中国传统节日、介绍习俗、文化、食品等相关内容开题。今天我们一起学习写好这种题材的应用文。

开头：节日时间+节日意义

1）节日时间：

XXX, also known as …, is the most important traditional festival in China. It usually falls between … and …according to the lunar calendar.

XXX is a traditional Chinese festival that takes place on XXX of XXX lunar month, which usually falls in June.

2）节日意义：

The festival is celebrated in many parts of China and is a time for people to get together with family and friends.

Firstly, I want to tell you something about the origin of the festival. There are two main characters in the story. One is Qu Yuan and the other is Wu Zixu. Qu Yuan was not merely an extraordinary poet, but also a politician with patriotic spirit. The enemy seized the capital city of Chu Dynasty 278 B. C. And it was a contributor to Qu Yuan’s jumping into Miluo River to end his life. Afterwards, people set up the festival in order to shelter Qu Yuan’s body from being eaten by fish in the river. Another people who is worth mentioning is Wu Zixu, a renowned general. Secondly, people are accustomed to eating specific food, such as rice dumplings, salty eggs and realgar wine.
