一．高级句式

1. Not only ... but also...引导的倒装

2. Only+副词/介词短语/状语从句作主语，句子用部分倒装

Only in this way can we live in a more harmonious society.

Only when he told me did Iknow the truth.

3.The reason why+完整句子is that+完整句子

The reason whyI will fail to go there is thatI will attend a family get-together tomorrow when my cousin Peter will return home from Beijing.(表示做某事的原因）

4.虚拟语气(without..., sb. +couldn’t/wouldn’t have done...)（感谢信）

Without your advice and help ,I would not have madesuch unbelievable progress in English.

Withoutyour help ,I couldn’t have beensuccessful.

5.Learning/Knowing that +完整句子，I’m writing to ...(写信背景+写信目的）

6.一件事，which+缺主语的句子

7.Nothing is more important/其他形容词+than ...(否定词+比较级表示最高级）

10. as引导的让步状语从句（倒装）
