ConversationA: It's quitting time. I'm gonna clock out now. See you, guys.
B: Wait, Alex. Did you work on all the papers and documents we need for tomorrow's brainstorm meeting?
A: Not yet. But I can finish those tomorrow.
B: No way! We need those materials and numbers first thing in the morning. You got to finish them tonight.
A: Ugh, I am through working overtime!
B: This is business. We have a deadline to meet. And you won’t be the only one under pressure. We've all got to crank out this project tonight.
A：下班时间到了。我要打卡下班了。再见，亲们。
B：等等，阿历克斯。你有没有做我们明天的脑力激荡会议所需要的所有文件呢?
A：还没呢。不过我可以明天完成。
B：不行!我们一大早就需要那些资料和数字。你得今晚完成。

这个用法很常见，不过在字典里你却找不到。Through可以表达“完成”的意思，但这一表达的意思赞同于：I don’t want to do… anymore.
I’m through talking with you!
我不想跟你说话了!
deadline
截止期限
这个词指必须完成某事物的期限。如果要指“须在截止期限前完成”，可以说：
meet a deadline
变化用法就是：
have a deadline to meet
There's no way I can meet the deadline.
我不可能在截止期限前完成。
crank out
快速地(、机械地)完成
John can crank a lot of work out in a single day.
约翰一天就能赶出很多活。
under pressure
承受着压力
I have to get back to work. I am under a lot of pressure lately.
我得回去工作。我最近压力很大。
